Fuel System Services
The ability to evaluate Fuel System performance is critical to the mission of diesel engines. Diesel Power has the ability to troubleshoot any diesel fuel system and to recommend corrective action, from a minor adjustment, to a rebuild, or a complete replacement. Diesel Power has the expertise to check fuel systems including older mechanical pumps and injectors as well as the latest common rail systems in virtually all applications.
Diesel Power has five factory trained technicians operating a variety of rebuild and calibration equipment, including three injector test stands and five pump stands. Pump rebuilds include Bosch, Stanadyne, Delphi, Zexel, and Denso, as well as CAT, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Mack, International, John Deere, Ambac, Simms and Yanmar. An inventory comprised of several thousand items is maintained to provide quick turnaround for our customers.
Turbocharger and Air System Services
Diesel Power has a variety of services available to support customers air system needs. Turbocharger rebuild, modification to different specification, cartridge replacement, rebuilt turbocharger exchange or factory replacement are all within the purview of Diesel Power. The three main categories of turbochargers – standard, waste gate, and variable geometry, are all serviced by Diesel Power personnel. The Diesel Power Group maintains a full turbocharger remanufacturing center.
Engine Repair/Rebuild Services
Regardless of an engine's age, Diesel Power customers know they can depend on Diesel Power to provide advice on cost effective repairs. During warranty, under operation, or at the end of the engine's work life, our technicians can provide cost effective solutions.
The skilled technicians at Diesel Power can perform engine diagnosis, evaluation, cost comparisons, engine removal/installation, and complete overhaul, based on the customer's needs. Customers can bring engines or equipment to Diesel Power's Nashville location, or Diesel Power can pick up equipment from the customer's location.
Drive In Service
Diesel Power maintains several modern, oversized service bays to support those customers who have a need to leave equipment with us for service. Our bays are equipped to handle any size mobile equipment, including buses, motor homes, vehicles, and various mobile equipment. Drive-in service may range from connection to diagnostic equipment to removal and rebuild of either the complete diesel engine or significant components. We provide photographic support for those customers anticipating either equipment or product warranty actions.
Drive Out Service
Maintaining the ability to service diesel engines in the field is an important component of Diesel Power's capabilities. Particularly in the case of industrial applications, there are many times Diesel Power must go to the equipment and application, rather than the equipment coming to our service facility. Full-service truck capability is also maintained by Diesel Power.
Diesel Power maintains the most complete bank of on-engine diagnostics equipment in Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky. Full laptop diagnostic capability exists at Diesel Power to link to Ford, Dodge, GM, International, Caterpillar, John Deere, Deutz, Perkins, Cummins, Volvo and Isuzu engines. Our technicians are all factory trained in on-engine diagnostic techniques, which facilitate efficient and cost-effective diagnosis of engine performance issues.
